We reject the terms “black hat” and “white hat” as they apply to today’s internet. “Black hat” SEO’s notoriously cheat the system, resorting to dirty tricks like cloaking and link farming. They’ll claim to know the “backdoor to Google” and some such non-sense. “White hats” present themselves as line walking law abiders who can do no wrong in Google’s sight. These guys are so busy keeping their nose clean, that they hesitate far too long before picking up the newest SEO strategies. They will offer you a nice “safe” package which weighs heavily on article submissions to played out directories.
